A map of Navajo Code Talker, Harrison Lapahie, that was used during the Roi Namur Island campaign in the Pacific during World War II. Roi Namur was taken by the 4th Marine Division in February 1944. Co. 'G'-2-23 lost one man.

Instructions pertaining to the map.

Roi Namur was given a code name of "Burlesque I." and "Camouflage I.". This was because U.S. military officials didn't want the Japanese military to know that they were going to take it.
