Philip Johnson, the one on the left, was the one who proposed to the USMC to use Navajos as radiomen for World War II. Navajo Code Talker Jimmie King, the one on the right, translated the U.S. Marine Corp Hymn into Navajo. They were most likely singing the Marine Corps Hymn in Navajo. March 1975.
