Taken at Cedar Dam, Colorado, in 1933, when Lillie Todichiini was 13 years old. Lillie lived with the Brothers Family in the basement of the house shown. Lillie worked as a helper for them for $6 dollars a week for 3 or 4 years. She milked the cows and fed the chickens and pigs and herded the pigs to the tall grass. She used her free time to go and pick "choke berries". Mom slept with the dog which was named "Bud". The horse in the picture was named "Apaloosa Pokadot". The saddle blanket was made by her mom, Julia Armstrong and the saddle was also owned by Lillie.
