The Lapahie family always had a picnics with the Staley family during the 1970's and 1980's. They ate and then the guys would play basketball nearby in North Hollywood, CA where the Staley's lived. This stopped after the death of Harrison Lapahie in 1985. Here Lillie Lapahie was making a piece of the stitching of pillow cases. Lillie Lapahie's hobby was sewing. She made the clothing for her husband and son, the drapery, and also covering for the sofas, at their apartment in Los Angeles, CA. Her ability to sew stopped after her stroke in 1996.
