*Hugh Lapahie died at Shiprock Hospital approximately 1933 to 1939, more likely 1935. This happened during the time Harrison Lapahie was a little kid going to school in Shiprock.
**Edith McKinley and H.B. Lewis are the parents of Alex Lewis, Jeanette Lewis (married name was Popjeck, but came back to Lewis), and Virginia DeVore. Alex Lewis is the father of Keevin Lewis, and Daniel Lewis. Daniel Lewis was adopted. He is also Navajo.

Martha Hastiin Lapahie maiden name was probably Martha Yazzie, but was known as Martha Hastiin Lapahie. She was born about 1863, and we are not sure if she went on the "Long Walk" to Fort Sumner, NM. What is also known is that she came back from Fort Sumner, so there is a 50% probability that she was born at Fort Sumner, NM. She returned to her homeland from Fort Sumner, NM in 1868. Martha Hosteen Lapahie died in the Table Mesa area. She was buried in an unmarked grave at Table Mesa. Later, her original gravesite was moved by her son, Willie Lapahie, and Edith McKinley's husband, ? McKinley, to a new grave site, because of heavy equipment working in the area. This was most likely Oil Rigs or strip mining in the vicinity of the original grave site. Martha passed away approximately in 1950. She had a Census No.
